@LloydsBank Is it ever possible to speak to a human being at Lloyds. Customer service is atrocious. I hungnon a phone line for 20 minutes and then was cut off. Very depressing.

@afneil Strangely, satisfaction levels were at an historic high at the end of the Labour government. Average waiting times a third what they are now. In the G7, UK healthcare spending per person was the second-lowest, with the highest spenders France, Germany and the U.S.

British Social Attitudes survey shows public dissatisfaction with NHS has reached highest level since records began in 1983. Overall satisfaction fell to 24% — down 5% on last year — dissatisfaction rose to 52%. Dissatisfaction is even higher in Scotland and Wales, where NHS run for years by left-wing governments, than it is in currently Tory England.

@FAZUA_OFFICIAL If you're buying an e bike. Be careful of Fazua. My experience if customer service is, it is non existant. My battery, dead after not three years. No help whatsoever. Not reliable, not good value, not sustainable.

Treated splendidly by the NHS today - of all days - after having, bizarrely, detached a retina at Wimbledon yesterday. (I think while having a conversation.) Scanned and diagnosed quickly by lovely staff at Moorfields in Tooting, op tomorrow.

@StephenWadeAP Not such a good point. What we say is that where there is a need that fits in with the plans of a city or region, of course, building a new venue makes sense. We discourage unnecessary building.

1-3 David Owen at Inside the Games made a great point. The IOC is touting its study saying 85% of Olympic venues still in use. So if building Olympic venues is such a good idea, why is IOC now discouraging building venues? Paris. Los Angeles. Giant disconnection.

The volunteer thing is intentional to disguise fact IOC is a rich sports biz that just reported income of $7,600,000,000 over last four years. IOC portrays self as a charity with non-profit status in Switzerland.
