Do people realize how scary something like this is? For many their Google accounts are connected to their lively hoods. It's how many people do their jobs and make money. This corrupt suspension of services is basically telling people to go die. Google needs to get sued.

When George Floyd, a fentanyl dealer, overdosed in police custody, everyone blamed the police for restraining him incorrectly.
Now we have a young man who was stabbed in the lung, then police officers cuffed his hands behind his back, FORCING THE WOUND OPEN, and stopped him from putting pressure on it. They left him there while he died, and delayed medical services.
He died because of those police officers. They should be put in jail.

It’s all about AI. They fear AI because they believe it will replace their traditional art-making methods.
However, digital art has existed for decades and hasn’t rendered the “brush” obsolete. I’m puzzled by their concern. What they refer to as “AI slop” must be exceptionally good that it poses a genuine threat to them.
In my view, AI as a tool for art is merely another human advancement. I fail to comprehend why they harbor such intense dislike for it.

Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence.
The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures.
On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied,
“This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.”
This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it.
A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons.
Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

My house burned down. I lost everything. I can’t rebuild. As a 42 year old man with 2 kids, I’ve had to move into my parents’ house, and I’m getting attacked for that? This is journalism? This is why no decent people ever get into politics. This is why you only have goblins running everything.
