Pretty frustrating to know the MVP is coming down to the QB with the easiest schedule since 1999 vs. QB with the toughest schedule for a playoff team since 2004, and people are going to pretend one Week 17 game outweighs everything else. We've gotten so much dumber about everything.

@ScottKacsmar I hear ya. It's not right but Stafford losing 3 of 4 December road games & two in primetime to fall to a 6 seed will matter. Maye's quality of opponent is inferior. On paper, his stats barely top the latter. The "narrative" for him is more juicy. Right or wrong.

@Marshmorrow1212 Isn't he leading the league in yards and TDs? That's more than participation. Maybe #2 in yards since Dak throws it so much but still. He's been letdown a good bit by his teammates in ways that weren't this true in recent years.

Note: I never loved his case this year but Leading a top-ranked offense with big volume, good efficiency, against a tough schedule in the best division and he's been far more clutch than the record suggests. Only QB to give his team a 4Q/OT tie or lead in all 16 games.
