@danielowen53804 @FrLillie I don't get the hate against RoO. It was and is still one of my favorite channels about Orthodoxy. So what the guy isn't Orthodox? There are many great interviews with Orthodox priests who are asked about the Orthodox faith by Protestants and Catholics.

@FrLillie No it just has to be higher quality content. Orthodox Roots isn’t Orthodox, put his production quality is top tier. For a casual YouTube watcher this is much more appealing. You might get Orthodox to watch your channel, but everyone else will look for high quality content.

I have an Orthodox YouTube channel with a meager 15k subscribers. The production value is not great but the content is faithful with Sunday sermons, prayers, parish classes, and catechism material. If I want to grow it, it appears I must start by NOT being actually Orthodox! 😂

Bislang vier Tote und mehr als 40 Schwerstverletzte hat unser Land durch den Anschlag von #Magdeburg zu beklagen. Bürger in Deutschland werden auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt angegriffen und das Einzige, was die Innenministerin feststellt, ist, dass es sich offensichtlich um einen islamophoben Täter handelt. Da fehlen einem die Worte. Ich habe gestern nicht voreilig von einem islamistischen Terroranschlag gesprochen, wie es viele AfD-Politiker umgehend ohne nähere Kenntnis taten. Aber es ist nach #Mannheim und #Solingen bereits der dritte Anschlag durch arabische Zuwanderer in diesem Jahr, der Menschenleben kostet. Und dies zeigt offenkundig, dass die Sicherheit unseres Landes durch die Zuwanderung dieser Menschen erheblich gefährdet ist ganz unabhängig von ihren Motiven und wir dringend eine #Asylwende brauchen.

@jaydyer I don't see the problem tbh. he's an inquirer who interviewed a lot of Orthodox priests and produced tons of great content with actual EO priests talking about the faith. we assumed the man behind the channel was Orthodox. He never claimed to be and it was never about him

Wir sind in einer Bananenrepublik, wenn ein durch Deutschlands Steuerzahler alimentierter, weitere Straftaten androhender Straftäter mal locker Asyl bekommt statt abgeschoben zu werden. I am a former Muslim, and I closely follow the stories of those who leave Islam. I often connect with them on social media, interview them, and explore their reasons for leaving the faith. Over the past 20 years, I have interviewed many ex-Muslims. I reached out twice to @DrTalebJawad, inviting him to share his story/ and other topics on camera. However, he declined both times. I typically ask tough questions during my interviews, which makes me wonder why he refused. Each time, he cited a temporary medical condition, claiming his face was swollen as the reason he could not appear. Below are the DMs where he rejected my request. One was in 2018, and another one in 2020
