The local Fox hunt Trash Belvide SSSI nature reserve this afternoon. After being warned about their future conduct, when a similar incident happened several years back. They don't give a shit.

Ancient woodlands aren’t a blocker. Wildlife isn’t a hindrance. Chalk streams aren’t anti-growth. Our wildlife is on the brink - one in six species faces extinction. These species help define who we are as a nation - we won’t get a second chance to save them.

20,000 bricks make up the average 2 storey new house & all we ask is that 1 of them has a hole in it - to save a species and preserve an entire category of birds who live alongside us. Labour hated the idea to put a 3 line whip against it. Talk about betrayal.

BAD NEWS💔if the vote had taken place earlier we would have won-Tories (majority) whipped YES but by the time of the vote, support had gone home just like 2 years ago. It is an AGONISING reality. Tell steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk what you think. GUTTED. Labour: what a betrayal 😡

Why has Steve Reed u-turned on swift bricks? what is a 50 million year old species worth to us? Swifts won’t have any nesting opportunity without swift bricks. Neither will any birds reliant on buildings to breed. Our easiest access to nature will go. theguardian.com/environment/20…

I had to guard the bike!! whilst Trudi climbed (took a lift) up to the top of the Kulmino tower, Notre-Dame-de-Monts. 50 miles today on incredibly quiet marsh roads and tracks. @thetandemclubuk @OrbitTandems

Another magnificent speech by the formidable and highly logical @natalieben 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you for continuing to be the voice for the birds, and a voice of reason.

Swifts are the long-distance athletes of the natural world – flying 5,500km only to find nowhere to nest here in Britain. A tiny action could make all the difference. For swifts, it’s life or extinction. #NatureEmergency #SaveOurSwifts @WriterHannahBT

After a couple of days walking and dodging showers we enjoyed a 56 mile ride - we passed by this wonderful working flour mill. We also saved this huge goat moth caterpillar from the road. @thetandemclubuk @OrbitTandems #Vendee
