@RacingTV Don't think this is harsh at all , all jockeys no matter who you are should ride to the finish and a place , it needs to be stopped and a hefty ban will do this .

@Mathewforthh I thought it was a rotten decision , but now seeing him ride , I see he doesn't handle the pressure to well. Great rider but lacks the bottle for me on favourites and big races .

Unpopular opinion, but personally think Shoemark was a huge fall guy for a poor crop for the Gosden's. He shouldn't have got that big a job, but there's a reason he did imo.

"If things had gone my way, there were four Group 1s literally within a month, but none of them are on my CV. There was a reminder every week and it was quite brutal, but it happens. "When I lost the job, the amount of goodwill messages I received from owners and trainers was mind-blowing. You feel like you're wanted, but all of a sudden the music does stop and people get on with their lives. The messages stop and you're left with no horses and that's when you have to go to work."
