Today, I joined German Ambassador to the United States Jens Hanefeld to sign a Joint Declaration of Intent between the state of Florida and the Federal Republic of Germany, promoting strategic investment, industrial ties, and economic growth.
The Free State of Florida continues to set the standard for business growth and economic development on the international stage. This agreement will ensure that our state remains one of the best places in the world to do business, live, work, and raise a family.
I’m glad to continue to strengthen the economic partnership between our great state and Germany.

We have just used the @Nvidia H100 onboard Starcloud-1 to train the first LLM in space!
We trained the nano-GPT model from Andrej @Karpathy on the complete works of Shakespeare and successfully ran inference on it.
We have also run inference on a preloaded Gemma model, and we plan to try more exciting models in the future.
Getting the first H100 to work in space required a lot of innovation and hard work from the incredible Starcloud team to make this breakthrough.
This is a significant first step toward moving almost all computing off Earth to reduce the burden on our energy supplies and take advantage of abundant solar energy in space! 🚀

Key Features & Improvements:
1. Quantile lines never cross—mathematically impossible.
2. Cycle-length agnostic.
3. 133,000+ data points and 1,500 lines of code.
4. Fits and stores 999 quantile levels (τ = 0.001–0.999 in 0.001 steps) and identifies which level the last price is closest to.
5. Fits the two leading decay functions (stretched exponential decay & exponential decay) and selects the better fit via quantile-appropriate AIC.
Uses Akaike weights to identify the best-supported model.
Akaike weights (AIC-based):
Stretched exponential decay: 96.4%
Exponential decay: 3.6%
6. Piecewise Quantile Regression — Linear + Stretched Exponential Decay (Nonlinear).

“We're finalizing the design of Optimus version 3.
That really is going to be a very remarkable robot.
It will have essentially the manual dexterity of a human, meaning a very complex hand, an AI mind that can navigate and comprehend reality, and it will be made in very high volume.
If you see any other robotics company, they're missing those three things.
Those are the three really hard things.
I spend actually at this point more of my mental cycles than anything else, any other single thing, on Optimus.
That's solving for real-world AI.
There is no supply chain that exists for humanoid robots, so we have to recreate it from scratch, which requires doing a lot of vertical integration.”
