Picked up my 4.5 year old daughter from school just now. She always tells me she wants to watch Spurs with me when she wants something. Smart and manipulative I tell you. She tells me she wants to watch Spurs with me tonight, and after I say sure. Forty seconds later, she asks for cookies & cream ice cream after dinner with sprinkles when she knows she only gets it on weekends. Should I give in if she watches for more than 10 minutes? ( she usually lasts 3)

I love how angry my success makes trolls and haters! What’s the worst concert you ever attended? It pains me to admit mine was Hall & Oates when they came out and opened with 45 straight minutes of nothing but Christmas songs. The crowd started booing, Hall told a guy he’d kick his ass. Another dude yelled “Oates, you’re a maneater!” Didn’t play Maneater, didn’t play Private Eyes. Closed with a one-song encore of Jingle Bell Rock that felt like a middle finger to the audience. Come to think of it, I’m wrong. That night was fucking awesome.

Lauri is going on 28 next year. His prime has 3-4 years left at most before his impact and value starts falling off from being a neutral defender to a net negative defender. By the time Vic hits his mental and physical winning prime in his year 4, Lauri will be overpaid and on the decline into early 30s. See Kevin Love after he turned 30. Flagg will be 2 years younger than Vic, where both prime’s will align for majority of their careers. Every single dynasty in the history of the game had their core players prime’s align. Punting 5 1sts for Lauri isn’t it. Preferring Flagg over Lauri isn’t it either. Hell give me any top 10 pick in next years draft over Lauri because the timing of a players prime and how it aligns with Vic’s prime is vital in order to build a team ready for sustainable contention.

This is a terrible decision. Integrating and advertising sports gambling is a short sighted and selfish revenue grab. Only way it could make some sense is if the NBA only allowed fans to use play money or “engagement tokens” where fans can use to bet on the games they watch — and in turn use the tokens in the team store to buy jerseys/memorabilia or tickets.

Not good. Trae may stretch the defense but he doesn’t apply pressure north to south in the restricted area with any sort of decent rim gravity as a ball handler. He’s mostly a jump shooter and good weak side passer out of the PnR when weak side low man tags the roller but he’s not a guy that’s going to apply a lot of rim pressure. This plays a role in his overall inefficiency as a high volume scorer — converting only 42% of his opportunities.

@EricSal_7 They have to change draft rules. No team should be rewarded for losing on purpose. It is terrible for the league, and fans. There has to be a better way.

The Spurs biggest moves in the past few years were made to benefit the future. Most have yet to show any returns and will show returns in the next 2-3 years. While I understand losing sucks right now, it's going to get better. Spurs want to win. When I say win, I mean win BIG. They don't care about play-ins or a short-lived playoff appearance that they have to keep plugging up holes with little assets every 2 years to stay afloat. They want long-term sustainable success. They don't care for expensive quick fixes that have a high probability of backfiring due to the financial and asset ramifications those impulse moves could create. Patience my friends.
