This photo would have been taken in 1987. I was 10. The only way to get a “foreign” shirt in those days was for someone to actually go to that city and bring you one back. I was lucky enough to have a Barcelona shirt brought back for me. In an age when not many kids had replica shirts, I became known as “the Barcelona kid”. Great memories — and a great shirt too. PS: I didn’t grow up in a war zone… I think our garden was being done up 🤣🤣
