Now the county says it’s worth $246,000. Did I sell it? No. Did I make a profit? No. Did I get a check for $246,000? No. But my taxes jumped like I did. That’s the problem. This isn’t income. This isn’t cash. This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it. If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell. If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax. So why does owning a home work differently? Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains? A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money. You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it. This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.” It’s about being charged for value you never received. And people are starting to notice.

I think Knox will be looking to move on if he can, but I hope he stays. Wagner and Richmond would be a huge contributor anywhere and hope they stay as well. Ewin needs to stay and Thomas needs to stay if he doesn't go pro. We need a true big man, one that is a beast. We need to make sure we have a 9 man rotation.

@MartyRazorback @BradBeasley19 Pope largely built his classes through the portal in both years so what he is doing this year is largely no different than either of the first two season.

I say this as a Cal fan, I remain unconvinced that Cal has really outperformed Pope. Not defending Pope, it has to get better…but people placing a lot of stock in Arky’s post season run that saw them beat Oklahoma, Miss, Vandy, Hawaii and High Point.

I hate Texas as a competitor. I would love to see them lose every game.... fairly. Texas got ripped last night by the refs and EVERYONE outside of Purdue knows this. Although Arkansas would've lost anyway, they received the same treatment. It's obvious there are other powers at play to determine who they want to advance. The sad part is Texas SHOULD be moving on to the elite 8.

Arkansas thought they were getting prime 2010’s Calipari when in reality they got washed up 2020’s Calipari that loses to Oakland/St. Peter’s and has a Sweet 16 ceiling. Different school, different 5 star talent, same disappointment.

Wow, trigger. Good vocabulary but not surprised seeing the refs you run with. I didn't say the Hogs should've won but the calls were definitely one sided when it came to physical play. The Hogs had a bad game for sure but these teams in the 16 deserve fair and balanced calls. Texas received the same treatment.
