I first met Randy in 2009 at a 100th b-day celebration in memory of Wally Nelson. Randy was one of the gentlest, kindest, and most peaceful humans I've ever met. His courage of conscience for nonviolent social change was an inspiration. Rest in power, Randy!

Today my dad would have been 93. He celebrated early last year, not knowing if he would make it to 92. In an interview last March with Christiane Amanpour he expressed his contentment. “It’s been a wonderful party, and it’s time to go home and go to bed.”
