@linmeitalks Heard amazing things about it. Know people who have shifted there from Australia (they prefer it to Australia, please note.) Low cost of living, great infrastructure, friendly. Good place to WFH. I have not been but let's see if anyone else comments.

I’ve been travelling for a month and one evening went to a bar on my own. Had an amazing time and met great people. Would recommend putting yourself out there and taking the risk. Worst case scenario - you feel a bit awkward and leave???

People always ask me how I have so much confidence to do things alone but I literally do not think about being perceived when I'm out lmao. If people think I'm weird for being alone I'm not going to see them again????

I've been to 15 countries solo. Yes, I met a lot of people in hostels, on street tours etc, I also enjoy taking myself out on a solo date. I remember being in Dubai for the first time and went to a Persian restaurant and a lovely couple invited me to their table to join them.
