Arcanaut Studios will not use AI to make Star Wars Fate of the Old Republic.
Director Casey Hudson calls AI “creatively soulless” and “really unimpressed with it”.
"It's hard to imagine where it is actually helpful" says the original KOTOR director.

Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Alec Guinness warned Ian McKellan not to push the LGBTQ agenda. McKellan said:
“He took me for an Italian lunch in Pimlico, where we chatted about this and that until he brought up the real reason for his invitation. He had heard about my work to establish Stonewall – a lobby group to present to the government and the world at large the case for treating U.K. lesbians and gays equally under the law with the rest of the population. He thought it somewhat unseemly for an actor to dabble in public or political affairs and advised me, sort of pleaded with me, to withdraw. Advice from an older generation, which I didn’t follow.”
Was Guinness right about this?

Just got off a call with a childhood friend
His wife has cancer, it took 5 months to wipe out 20 years of his life savings and that was with insurance.
He said the experience has turned him into a hateful, bitter person. They did everything they were told.
They went to college, got degrees, avoided credit card debt, spent wisely, saved a nice chunk of money in savings accounts and retirement accounts and minded their own business.
The USA healthcare system took all of their savings and retirement and forced them to refinance their house so that they lost 15 years of equity.
Is this a country we are supposed to be proud of? I hate this system and anyone that defends it.
“I’m not lazy. I just don’t want my whole life to be this cycle.”
An American worker says every paycheck vanishes into rent, bills, and taxes. Nights are short. Weekends disappear. Then it starts again.
“I don’t want to live the same 40 years and call it life.”
In India 🇮🇳:
An elderly man decided to participate with his wife in a fire ritual believed to forgive sins and grant wishes.
He took his wife in his arms, confident in his long experience.
But halfway through, he lost his balance, and he and his wife fell onto the burning coals.
The man suffered serious injuries, while his wife lost her life because of these tragic beliefs… 💔
@DeborahAnnWoll Love Debra as an actress, but the story arc on Karen is shallow compared to the comic. Love triangle in the 60's between Foggy & Matt, porn star/ drug addict in the 70's. Reveals Matt is DD for money in the 80's, Killed by Bullseye in 90's. Incredible acting opportunities missed
The angels described in the Bible look almost nothing like the angels in our paintings...
According to the celestial hierarchy discussed by Thomas Aquinas in his Summa Theologica, the three highest orders of angels stand closest to God. Each one is described in the Bible in a way that has almost nothing to do with how we picture them today.
The Thrones, the third-highest order, appear in the visions of the prophet Ezekiel. He describes them as wheels of fire intersecting one another, "a wheel within a wheel," with rims "full of eyes all around." In the Hebrew tradition they are called Ophanim, meaning wheels.
Their function is to carry and uphold the throne of God.
The Cherubim, the second-highest order, also appear in Ezekiel's visions and in the book of Genesis, where they guard the gates of Eden with a "flaming sword which turned every way."
In Renaissance painting, they were transformed into pink-cheeked winged babies, but the Bible describes something entirely different...
Each Cherub has four wings and four faces: a man, a lion, an ox, and an eagle. It was a Cherub that Christian tradition identifies as the highest fallen angel. In his Summa Theologica, Aquinas argued that Satan, before his fall, was a Cherub, drawing on Ezekiel 28, which describes a "guardian cherub" in Eden who fell through pride.
The Seraphim, the highest order, appear in the vision of Isaiah. "Above him stood the seraphim," the prophet writes. "Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew."
The face and feet are covered out of humility before God. The remaining two wings are for flight. The Hebrew word Seraphim literally means the burning ones.
Centuries later, similar beings appear in the New Testament book of Revelation. There, John of Patmos describes four creatures around the throne of God, but now their wings are "full of eyes within."
The angels of our paintings have soft faces and feathered wings. The angels of the Bible have wheels for bodies, four faces, and wings full of eyes...

Sometimes history is stranger than fiction.
🦔Residents living near AI data centers are reporting constant low-frequency hum measured as infrasound, sound below the human hearing threshold that causes dizziness, nausea, vertigo, and sleep disruption. The noise comes from cooling systems and onsite gas turbines hyperscalers are building behind-the-meter to bypass slow grid interconnects.
Local zoning rules do not regulate infrasound because traditional noise ordinances only measure decibels in the audible range, leaving residents with no legal recourse. The video below captures what households near these facilities are living with around the clock.
My Take
The infrasound problem does not exist in the regulations because the technology producing it at scale did not exist when the rules were written, and developers know exactly which rural jurisdictions lack the framework to push back.
Households who bought before the data center was announced get to choose between selling at a loss or living with symptoms that did not exist a year ago, and that cost is being externalized onto people who never agreed to host critical infrastructure for the AI buildout.

I hear many wondering: “The IRGC commanders are dead, why aren't Iranians in the streets taking back their country?”
Here is what has changed on the ground: The regime knows Iranians hate them, so they have imported their regional terrorist proxies (Hezbollah, Hashd al-Shaabi, Fatemiyoun) directly into Iranian cities to suppress the public.
Taking out top commanders in bunkers is great, but it doesn't magically remove the thousands of foreign mercenaries patrolling our streets with machine guns. We are still fighting completely UNARMED.
Asking a bare-handed population to face a transnational terrorist army without any real logistical or military backing isn't asking for a revolution; it's asking for a massacre.
🅰️rm the Iranian people!
Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in all three Disney Star Wars sequel films, on criticism that her character is a Mary Sue:
"The Mary Sue thing in itself is sexist because it's the name of a woman. Everyone was saying that Luke had the exact same capabilities. I think Rey is incredibly vulnerable, and nothing she's doing is for the greater good. She's just doing what she thinks is the right thing."
Luke trained for years, lost his hand, and got beaten by Vader. Rey picked up a lightsaber and defeated a Sith Lord the same day. Are these the same?
