To the #Bibas Family and All Victims of #Terrorism, Today is a painful echo of October 28th—the day the #IslamicRegime in Iran announced they had executed my father, German-American hostage #JamshidSharmahd. After 4 years of brutal torture, they murdered him and boasted about it to the world. Like you, I refused to accept condolences without official confirmation. I chose hope over devastation, defiance over despair. It took immense pressure and relentless effort to get my father’s casket to Berlin—something that should never be taken for granted. Last week, an autopsy was performed. Now, my family is left in a cruel, unthinkable limbo—waiting to discover whether the remains inside that casket are truly my father’s and to learn the gruesome details of how these terrorists ended his life. This is the barbaric reality of hostage-taking, where even death is shrouded in cruelty, and families are denied the dignity of certainty. We already know what #Hamas will do next. Just like the Islamic jihadists in Iran, they will lie, deflect, and manipulate to escape accountability. But the truth is clear: hostages taken by jihadists, tortured, held against all international law, and returned in caskets—this is terrorism, plain and simple. Yet terror thrives on complicity. It is enabled by international organizations that look away, so-called human rights activists who stay silent, media that echoes propaganda, and Western governments that fail to act. Yarden, nothing prepares you for what comes next. The pain is beyond words. The same jihadists who stole my father—the grandfather my daughter will never meet—are the ones who stole your beloved wife Shiri and your two innocent children, Ariel and Kfir. Their goal isn’t just to take our loved ones. They seek to break us. But they will fail. We do not trust the words of terrorists, and we do not know what awaits us tomorrow. We still pray for a miracle, for even the faintest glimmer of hope. But even if you lose that hope, we will hold it for you—hope for justice, hope that this pain fuels an unstoppable strength, hope that our loved ones become eternal symbols of resilience. We, who have faced the evil of jihadists firsthand, will stand together. We will be the force that fights back. No matter what tomorrow brings, you are not alone. We stands with you. #BringThemHomeNow
