Wilfred Rhodes, unquestionably one of the game's greats. In a 58-Tesr career from 1899 to 1930 he scored 2325 runs at 30.19 and took 127 wickets at 26.96; in all cricket he played 1110 matches scoring 39969 runs at 30.81 and taking 4204 wickets at 16.72, aggregates that will never be matched. Oh, and he also held 765 catches. In his final year, aged 52, he played four Tests.

@Moody_Chops @PictureSporting Had him dropped on 0 in the last of those 3 games.
English

@PictureSporting I was once told that he's the only bowler to have dismissed both Grace & Bradman

@GeorgeDobell1 Cripes, not what I expected. Looks like the Titanic steaming east into icy waters.
English

@MasterlyBatting Well, I respect him. I don’t think many are thinking he may be head coach but… there’s a lot of knowledge there. I’d welcome him sharing it.
English

@LydiaHislop Well done for commenting on this. You'll be in a journalistic minority as usual. For what it's worth, the mere fact he lied about owning properties abroad puts him behind the 8 ball. He can't just blame bad advice.

Judge Nicholas Briggs ruled the bankruptcy order could continue until March 16 2027… given the “blatant failure” by Dettori to provide information:
“There is much to uncover in this bankruptcy, and it may well be that criminal sanctions will be a useful tool for the trustees.”

@GeorgeDobell1 But Archer and Stokes will be doing the hard yards in Durham and Sussex.

@thewhoarchive Townsend is a convicted nonce.

@GeorgeDobell1 @TheCricketerMag The ECB will surely find jumping into bed with their new paymasters much easier than getting out.

'Maybe some think they are beyond the law or regulation? And maybe, in some places, they would be. They might do well to consider how that attitude is working out for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor or Peter Mandelson. The law needs to be taken seriously.' Thoughts on The Hundred:

@GeorgeDobell1 @TheCricketerMag Time will tell. If they can buy the premium month in the English cricket calendar, shelving a few Pakistan players should be easy.
English

@MasterlyBatting @TheCricketerMag no, they can't. and no, they haven't.
English

@PictureSporting Herbert would turn in his grave. A upwardly mobile cricketer if ever there was one.
English

@thewhoarchive Release badly messed up. Most people at the early tour gigs hadn't heard it.
English

@Graeme_McDowell Gotta love a completely unbiased opinion.
English

@DPWorldTour Beauty off the tee you say. Missed the fairway. Why post untruths?
English

Shane Lowry takes a one shot lead to the 72nd hole and hits this beauty off the tee😍

English

@prodnose Not sure what you are trying to say but I've a strong feeling it's a load of bollocks.
English

@andymcg_cricket Jacks by a mile. Smith's was an error of technique, Jacks' technique and sense.
