Yesterday, I heard the most fantastic youth choir in the past 12 months at Calella’s Canta al mar 2025. @BarnsleyChoir and conductor Mat Wright moved me to tears and believe me that I am a rather tough man! Congratulations to all of you!

A fantastic sell-out concert on Saturday night with the 64 selected members who will tour Catalonia this week. BYC will represent GB in the @INTERKULTUR Canta al Mar competition and also perform at the Sagrada Familia and Montserrat. 24 pieces in good shape. 🇬🇧

Looking forward to working in Indonesia next month with @bandungchoral . Grateful for an opportunity to meet and work with fantastic choirs and colleagues.
