The main work of my PhD, truly a multi-team/disciplinary story, is out today in @NatImmunol. We show that the BTLA-HVEM immune checkpoint is enriched in the tumor microenvironment and blunts CAR T cell function. High BTLA in patient CART19 → poor outcome. nature.com/articles/s4159…
