While England heads full-steam towards markets trading biodiversity offsetting so developers can meet Biodiversity Net Gain targets, Ecuador, a biodiversity mega-hotspot, has reconfirmed that biodiversity and carbon markets are illegal because they violate the #RightsofNature.
