@riboslavin @charlescwcooke @noe1le No you didn't need an FFL to buy a gun. If you purchase a gun retail, which is around 90% of all sales, you absolutely need an ID. If you sell more than 5 guns a year, you need an FFL to sell guns.
To say there is no federal requirement for gun sales/purchases is ignorant af.
