🚨⚠️🚨 URA CUSTOMS OFFICER REJECTS SHs.300M BRIBE AFTER UNCOVERING $10M HIDDEN IN CONTAINER According to @TrumpetnewsUG female customs officer at URA caught $10 million, that’s about 37 billion shillings hidden inside a container that was supposed to be carrying spoons and forks. The clearing agent tried to bribe her, first with 100 million, then bumped it up to 300 million shillings. She turned it down flat, reported it, and the money’s now with the Bank of Uganda. The owner, a guy who just came back from Turkey, has been arrested. The URA boss personally gave her an award and said this is exactly the kind of integrity they want from all officers.
