"Better & truer, make Iowa" - Yoda, probably. Democrats, Republicans, and independents in all 99 counties believe in our message, and we are going to keep working to deliver in November. #StarWarsDay #MayThe4thBeWithYou

Kansans worked hard and paid into Social Security and Medicare their whole lives. It's not a handout - it's a promise. I will never vote to cut it, privatize it, or let Wall Street touch it.

The Maine primary is over, early. @grahamformaine won it, fair and square. This is a completely winnable seat, with approval numbers for “Concerned Collins” in the tank.

Dear @DAGToddBlanche: Since DOJ took 11 months to investigate an 86 47 post by Comey—that he shortly deleted when told it could be misinterpreted—here is a post for you: 74 68 (Hint: Have your agents read it backwards 11 months later). Oh, and I’m not even going to delete it.

Cancer is serious. Everyone knows someone who's been affected by it. As governor, I'll take meaningful steps to address Iowa's sky-high cancer growth rates. Insiders have ignored it; I'll address it—no more time for games. robsand.com/issues/healthi…

Here are three things that will happen: 1. DOJ will lose the Comey case. 2. In the next Administration, Comey will get a big monetary settlement for selective prosecution. 3. After this Administration ends, @DAGToddBlanche will get disbarred. 86 47

AG Todd Blanche tells Kristen Welker that individuals selling 86 merchandise or posting messages similar to Comey’s seashell post will not be prosecuted: “Of course not. That’s posted constantly. That phrase is used constantly.”

Six weeks ago, I received an invitation to an event in Columbus. The premise was simple: Democrats and Republicans coming together to oppose the war in Iran, rally against unconditional military support for foreign nations, and demand the full release of the Epstein files.   There was no guest list. No venue. No date. Just an idea and a list of high-profile political commentators the organizers were inviting to attend.   It sounded like a good cause, an incredible opportunity to be heard by Republican voters, and a chance to put the national spotlight on OH-12.   But that impression came crashing down just days before yesterday’s event.   When the guest list rolled out last week, I was stunned.   I was one of TWO Democratic candidates on the list of speakers, and the public figures I’d anticipated meeting were nowhere to be found. I didn’t recognize anyone.   Once inside, I found out I would share the floor with anti-immigration activists, a pardoned J6er, actual antisemites, and Christian nationalists – including a pastor / podcaster who wants to end women’s rights and democracy.   I didn’t shake hands, but I didn’t leave.   I gritted my teeth, clenched my fists, and decided to make the best of a horrific situation so I could speak to the people who matter: the Troy Balderson and Trump voters who might be in the room or watching the livestream from home. Trying to flip this red district takes guts. Campaigning is already hard work, but in a district like mine, you have to be willing to walk into the lions’ den and wake the beasts up.   We cannot win if we don’t meet people where they are and accept every opportunity to be heard by Republican voters.   Those opportunities are far and few between for a candidate as progressive as me.   I got the hell out of there after my speech, but I’m glad I attended. I’m glad I had the chance to share our message with folks who otherwise would never hear it.   And I’m glad I snuck in some comments about them, whether or not they were bright enough to catch it.   I will never hangout or mingle with people like that, but if they want to give me a platform, it will always be their loss.   Because I’m taking some of their voters in November. Thirty years ago Susan Collins pledged to retire after two terms, saying "12 years is enough." Twelve years of Susan Collins is, indeed, much more than enough. I have never agreed with the Senator more.

Roger Marshall ran out the back door of his own town hall when Kansans tried to ask him simple questions. Being an Army grunt means you don't run when things get hard. You stand tall and do your job.

Black people in America need to be registered to vote, all of us. Full Fk’n Stop. In states like Georgia, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, turning to vote can shift outcomes in House, Senate, and gubernatorial races. Look at Georgia. About 3.5 million Black residents live here. Roughly 2.5 million of us are eligible to vote, yet only around 1.4 million of us actually do. That leaves between 900,000 and 1.1 million eligible Black voters not participating. Now compare that to the margins of the last two Ga: governor’s races. In 2018, the race was decided by about 54,000 votes. In 2022, about 191,000 votes. The number of eligible Black voters not participating is between 7 and 10x larger than those margins. This isn’t about theory, it’s about MATH. If we show up consistently, outcomes change. The shift starts with registration, and it is sustained by turnout. Register and VOTE.

Arizonans have been voting by mail for over 30 years, including a majority of Republicans, Democrats, and independents. It’s simple and secure. But Washington Republicans are trying to change that because they want to make it harder to vote. It’s wrong, plain and simple.

.@JamesTalarico: We are living in an era of corruption. I don’t just mean illegal activity. I mean corruption in the deeper sense — the rotting of something from the inside. Politicians serving billionaire megadonors instead of their constituents. The top 1% owning more wealth than the entire middle class. For-profit social media algorithms sowing division and turning neighbor against neighbor. Our systems are rotting from the inside out. The most powerful people in this country are profiting off our pain, our division, and our disconnection from one another. This is, at its root, a spiritual crisis. And it will require a spiritual solution.

Susan Collins has been in power for 30 years, and in those 30 years, life has gotten harder. We have watched hospitals shutter. We have watched schools close. We have watched housing become unaffordable across the state. She simply has not earned six more years.

“LITTLE GUY” JOE ROGAN IS TOO SCARED TO HAVE ME ON, BUT HE WONT STOP TALKING ABOUT ME. HE IS OBSESSED WITH MY “GOOD LOOKS,” JUST LIKE JESSE “SEE YOU IN COURT” WATTERS. A LITTLE WEIRD, BUT THANK YOU! ANYWAY, IF THE “LITTLE GUY” IS READY TO GET OUT OF HIS BOOSTER SEAT AND HAVE ME ON, I WILL EVEN LET HIM HAVE THREE LIFELINES TO PHONE A FRIEND DURING THE SHOW WHEN HE NEEDS HELP. I’LL EVEN STAY SEATED. UNTIL THEN, HE IS WORSE THAN “CHICKEN.” HE IS TOFU! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. — Governor GCN
