Some won’t like it but the @MiamiDolphins can create around $30 million in cap space by converting Tua base salary into a signing bonus and designating him a Post June 1st cut. The would mean dead cap hits of 2026: $25 million 2027: $75 million But the Dolphins are going to have basically $100 million in dead cap space no matter how you do it. The $75 million looks big for 2027. But if the @MiamiDolphins are truly building through the draft they should do this and be able to have some spending power in both years.
