Is this another game where we have to "play the ref out of the game"? Absolutely farcical level of officiating.

@alrobcraws @ReasonBites @dave43law From your own source: "We signed a declaration of intent on the deployment of forces to Ukraine in the event of a peace deal." "In the event of a peace deal." How does that equate to deploying combat troops to the front line?

@ReasonBites @dave43law Again. None of those examples are front line combat troops. They are all deterrent troops acting in a peacekeeping capacity. Your own source even says "post-ceasefire". How is that in any way the same as sending troops into an active war zone?

@MattGillard98 @dave43law So, he has no problem with Ukraine. The intent is there. So what is the motivation with Iran? Look at the history of Oman. Look at how many properties are owned by Iranian officials in London. Dig. It is not altruistic.

@ReasonBites @dave43law Conveniently leaving out the part where they would be peacekeeping troops working as part of a border operation? Not front line combat troops.

@MattGillard98 @dave43law - February 16, 2025: In an op-ed for The Daily Telegraph, Starmer wrote that he was "ready and willing to contribute to security guarantees to Ukraine by putting our own troops on the ground if necessary."

@ReasonBites @dave43law Give me verified, reliable sources that state he wants to send front line troops to Ukraine. I'll wait.

@MattGillard98 @dave43law Yes, but he wants to. So why ok there but not elsewhere? Means he is not holding back in Middle East to protect our people. It’s another motive.

@dave43law Yeah, just to Ukraine. He’s been salivating for that for 18 months. So clearly, there’s something in it for him and it’s not about lives.

@ready_jimmy @FromLe2 And he players probably don't think that turning up for a warm up warrants taking a ball to the head from some idiot on the TV

@ready_jimmy @FromLe2 He's clearly not happy when he's going over and the presenters still tried to treat it like a big joke that he should be finding funny. They're interrupting his job on live TV and acting as if it's no big deal, they clearly didn't care for how serious it was.

@MattGillard98 @FromLe2 You are clueless. He’s right to be angry he’s right to approach and I don’t even care about the language but don’t put your hands on people. He was wrong do that. You think the guy wouldn’t have moved without the shove ?

@PoliceVerso @FromLe2 There are protocols in place and TNT broke them by setting this up without clearing it with, or even checking it with, the team. Injuring a player on one of the teams for the sake of a silly little TV bit is also idiotic.

@MattGillard98 @FromLe2 There needs to be protocols in place so everyone knows who's doing what & where but shoving & swearing at an employee of the firm (TNT) whose cash keeps your industry afloat is idiotic to say the least

@PoliceVerso @FromLe2 Then do it when the players aren't warming up. I don't have an issue with them trying new things, but they unfairly put one team at a disadvantage when they did it up the Tigers end whilst our lads are training.

@FromLe2 TNT pay the bills so objecting to them trying our new things to entice audiences to a niche sport & doing so in a thuggish manner on live TV isn't acceptable.
