Jets trading up and sacrificing for Cooper, who is solid, was the perfect example of the opportunity cost you create by trying to fill your intermediate WR position with a TE 90% of the time you realize you need another WR. Took the Jets an hour and it cost them more picks

@LegerDouzable Bc Bailey isn’t going to be a 3 down player I don’t think. I’m not saying he’s Will McDonald, but he’s similar in his strengths. He will rush the passer like a demon, but his run game isn’t the best. Our 2nd overall pick needs to play more than 40-50% of the snaps.

This is insane. A New York City police officer conducted a drug bust on a known criminal. The criminal tried to flee the scene on a scooter, so the officer deployed a non-lethal weapon (threw a cooler at him) in an honest attempt to stop the suspect. The suspect died, which is unfortunate, but now the officer has been sentenced to 3-9 years in prison. That alone would be ridiculous. The judge took it a step further and explicitly said the aggressive sentence was meant to be a deterrent to other police officers. For what? For stopping criminals from committing crimes? The hardworking men and women of the NYPD deserve better than this. They risk their lives every day to protect innocent citizens from drugs and violent criminals. Activist judges who abuse their position of power over politics should be removed from office as well.

@MattLaMaaa @Bklyn929 Even if Reese is technically an off-ball LB (who plays edge too), he fills the pass-rush/premium position need the Jets actually have. College stats aren’t destiny, and using #2 on Love duplicates Breece Hall instead of addressing a real roster hole.

@MattLaMaaa @Bklyn929 You’re essentially arguing that if the Jets draft Love and trade Breece the team somehow goes from 3-4 wins to however may win, which isn’t realistic and not how RB’s work. You’re also ignoring injury risk, actual impact, and just about every other problem with taking an RB 2.

@MattLaMaaa @Bklyn929 Even if Hall is tradable, using #2 on another RB is still risky and redundant. Sure things are great, but the #2 pick is about fixing the team’s biggest holes, premium positions have higher long-term impact than duplicating a luxury position, and technically he’s no sure thing.
