To be clear, I know nothing about Lucas's businesses. But what I do know is this isn't a coincidence. This is corruption to the core. No way this investigation just happened to occur now. I hope all Virginians will condemn this. But of course I don't expect it.

Denis Navarette Romero: felony assault on an officer downgraded to a misdemeanor. Later arrested for rape on the W&OD Trail.
Abdul Jalloh: 40+ charges including rape, repeatedly dropped. Police warned Descano three times he would kill someone. He killed Stephanie Minter at a bus stop.
A man accused of trying to kidnap and rape a 4-year-old had his charges steadily reduced until ICE stepped in.
His own prosecutors wrote internally that Descano’s office “does not value protecting children who have been raped.”
He testifies before Congress in 9 days. The question isn’t whether Steve Descano has failed Fairfax County. It’s why he’s still in office.

🚨NEW: Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano's office reduced a rape charge (up to life in prison) against Alberto Ruiz Mendoza to assault and battery. Mendoza is now walking free. His sentence time was 90 days and his entire sentence was suspended. Descano also dropped the gun possession by an unlawful alien charges, a brandishing a firearm charge, and a threat in writing charge.

The level of hold this album has on me compared to other incredible classics of the genre is uncanny given how little people remember this band. Nu-metal's forgotten child, but truly one of the most remarkable albums of its era.
