Thoughts on today’s win vs. New York: • Payne had his best day in a couple years. • Way too many penalties. I’d be surprised if any team has more than them after this week. • Tons of penalties and drops but Jayden’s ability to overcome BS is special. • Run defense looked better than it did in any game last year. • We weren’t even sure if Bill would dress today, but he goes 10/81/1 and iced the game on the kind of run that they weren’t getting last year. • Special teams looked shaky at times, Giants got extremely close to blocking multiple punts. • There were a few questionable Kliff calls but considering they were in 2nd and 20 every other play I didn’t think he had a bad day. • Jayden threw highs few times early but he seemed to calm down in the 2nd. •I didn’t have to mention any corners names, that’s a first. • Jayden had over 300 total yards and hit 7 different receivers. • Commanders were the better team in every aspect, and appeared to stay healthy and ready to do it again in four nights.
