10 of the 11 guards weren’t paying attention when the guy with the gun came running at them attempting to kill the president. And the one guy who was watching fired multiple shots from this close without hitting the would be assassin.

Just like a CEO can’t manipulate stock prices and give insider tips or an athlete can’t bet on a game they are playing in. It’s all illegal. Maybe platforms like kalshi and Polymarket just shouldn’t exist because it’s too tempting not to take advantage of it. And congress should not be allowed to trade stocks.

It feels wrong that US military members are punished for betting on themselves to successfully carry out military missions, while politicians can bet on themselves through insider trading of companies they govern. Either ban both of them or allow both of them.

It’s time to hold all the people insder trading accountable. Arrest them all.

I just went to the Commissary at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, headquarters of CENTCOM. They’re now charging veterans 10 cents for bags at checkout.
