@davemeltzerWON Okada and Take had a storyline that more emotional than the Americano feud? No way. Not even close. Okada and Take was should've been young lion/old lion, and it wasn't. No weight to it, poor creative behind it. It was a standard NJPW match.

This match had better crowd reactions , that match had better announcing, that match was more emotional and felt more significant and real, also more masterful, more sport like, this paid off months of storylines, then again that paid off 14 years of storylines. This had the babyface go over and there was zero doubt of the outcome nor should there have been. That people have debated the outcome for months and while it was the only one possible, the other way may have been better.

It was similar, a group of wrestlers who were top guys led to a super charismatic leader jumped together from one company to its rival and business was on fire with all the new matches.
