Leaving Wembley today I was literally one of two Arsenal fans in a sea of Manchester City blue (I blame Wembley and their shit bag policy that changes each year as I had to use a bag locker). Not a single one of them had anything to say remotely rude, aggressive or just being a wanker. Social media fans do not show the true case of so many fanbases, all City fans I met today were sound.

It’s interesting how everyone apart from Mikel Arteta knew that the midfield wasn’t going to work even before kickoff. Lol.

The way Arteta celebrated that Martinelli goal. He set us up to play for a draw. He wasted the first half. Just about scraped through the second. He’s a fucking coward.

Looking at that midfield, you can see exactly what Henry meant about Arsenal. This isn’t a side set up to win, it’s a side set up not to lose. If we want the title, we’ve got to be braver. You can’t have all that creativity available only to stick a less agile Merino in the attacking 8 role. Conservatism has its place, but not at home. Fix up, Arteta.

Arteta has lost a lot of supporters today. Like a lot of people who support him.

@MattTrollope Crazy decision to go for a defensive midfield setup, like you say, at home. You could see the difference as soon as the first subs came on, it was like we’d changed the whole team not just a couple of players. Eze HAS to start next weekend, simple as that.

Didn’t deserve to lose that, strange to see City employ those sort of tactics, but if only we’d gone out to win from the start.
