Happy #LibrariesWeek. I had no money growing up. Luckily, all my favourite things were free. Friends, nature & learning. There was a local library. Sometimes I was the only one in it. Sometimes the odd drunk popped in to vomit. Anyway, it all turned out OK.

@wdwunlockmagic What counts as a ‘successful’ day at each park? We’re travelling from the UK next year and always pack our days. Next year, we want to clam things down a bit and ‘be in the moment’. Interested to know what you feel is a minimum (rides/food/show) for a calm but worthwhile day.

@tubbsmcguire I recently flew to the US and used these guys - projectscreen.co.uk
Order test online - next day DPD delivery. Do test over Zoom call (I know) - upload photo of result stick thing and they email you the PDF certificate in 3 hours. It was surprisingly easy and pretty cheap.

@rickygervais Or….please give me content for my next Netflix show. If you don’t understand this, please comment below…..😉

@Toryscott Just bear in mind that’s it’s an antigen test, not PCR and some countries stipulate that these need to be done within 48 hours of travel instead of 72. You can pack unused tests in hand luggage.
English

@Toryscott Living Care do an antigen test that you can take with you and do yourself in your hotel room. Send them a pic with passport and they email you a certificate. £25. Just returned from Corfu with these. Very cheap, quick and easy.

@seanfarrington @bbc5live So people making millions off the backs of losing gamblers is a problem? When are we cancelling the National Lottery then?

@CWOA There doesn't appear to be any VIP animal experiences available. Have dates for these not been released yet?

@MerlinapUK After long wait got on system. Family of 5 with 2 premium passes and 3 standard. System doesn’t accept single booking for two types of ticket so had to give up. Please advise.
English

Passholders, when booking please be sure to select the correct pass type. Your barcode will not work unless you select the correct pass type and groups with different pass types cannot be booked together.

@lisaminot Hi Lisa. It seems that under Greece's entry requirements,ABTA website says travellers are entitled to refund - but appears many tour ops are not admitting to customers, forcing them to travel? Be great to have you look at this to help others worried about travelling.
English

@deanh1927 @TUIUK Same with @olympicholidays. ABTA state that the introduction of self isolation/quarantine at your destination is grounds for you to CHOOSE not to travel and receive a refund from travel agent. Seems many claiming they are “unaware” of rules. @ABTAtravel @SimonCalder
English

@TUIUK Can you advise why passengers flying to Greece from Wed are not being told of UK government advice for the requirement to complete forms prior to departure and the potential for testing and Self isolation. Just spoke to your colleague who advised of no such need. No email.
English

@SimonCalder Would be great if you could clarify ABTA's position on the Greece quarantine and if, as its states on their website, it constitutes a substantial change to holiday and therefore allowing travellers who do not want to risk 14 days in isolation to cancel.
English

Travel at 12: Greece is now open to British travellers, with strings attached, while Cyprus sets out its conditions for UK visitors from 1 August – including a £54 charge for a coronavirus test on arrival. Plus your questions on travel.

Our travel expert @SimonCalder will be live on Facebook answering your questions from 12 noon facebook.com/theindependent…
English

@SimonCalder Given the risk of potential quarantine, would you travel to Greece Simon? Also, it would be great if you could confirm if this 'red tape' constitutes a 'substantial' change to holiday as specified by ABTA...thus allowing travellers to cancel holiday for refund.
English

Europe's Mediterranean nations divided on British visitors.
Spain, France, Italy, Croatia: fine, just follow local rules.
Greece, Cyprus: fill in these forms and you may be tested.

@MerlinapUK @Alex_Scribb @altontowers This is seems an example of taking an unfair advantage of the situation. Not allowing loyal pass holders to visit in lieu of full price paying day visitors is surely profiteering? If this is new norm, at very least allow full refund for pass from lockdown date. @MartinSLewis
English

@Alex_Scribb @altontowers Hi Alex, they are not holding back tickets, we have a set allocation for Passholders and a separate amount for non Passholders. If there are no slots left this just means that they are sold out.
I am sorry if this is any convenience this may have caused you.
English

@CWOA Hi, was hoping to book day passes (Merlin) for tomorrow but they are showing as sold out yet you are still selling full price tickets. Doesn't quite seem fair as I have effectively already paid to enter...?
English

@SimonCalder Could you do a similar piece on Greece specifically covering the quarantine requirements on arrival in Greece which seems to be very under-reported. Particularly that it seems if anyone on your flight tests positive, you can be put in quarantine. Many thanks.
English

Portugal: many questions coming in, and I hope this answers yours

English

@GreeceinUK We are due to travel to Corfu on July 21 but the UK gov website states it is ‘likely’ we’ll be tested on arrival and isolate while awaiting results. Plus, if any passenger on flight tests positive, we will have to quarantine. Please can you confirm if this is correct.
