It’s a long way to the top, but the views are worth it! Great fun taking a couple of my grandkids on a tour of the Capitol Dome while they’re in town. Really brightened up my day!
Inspired by our children: Craig and Mary treated refugees from Afghanistan, Syria and the DR Congo to their first Thanksgiving dinner. How thankful we are for America and for our wonderful children.
My statement on today’s impeachment vote:
The heroic actions of U.S. Capitol Police officers and agents saved the lives of all of us inside the Capitol on January 6. My family and I are especially grateful that Officer Eugene Goodman directed me to safety that day. This is an honor befitting his tremendous bravery.
