2/3rds of the time @Flock_Safety's DFR drones beat officers to the scene. The important thing isn't the speed, but what the speed prevents. An informed response is almost always a safer one. Flock Alpha, the fastest drone in public safety, will redefine the space in '26.

@Matt_Webster00 @Flock_Safety East Palo Alto - which once had the highest murder rate in the country - recently celebrated 2 years without a homicide. Correlation or causation that Flock was implemented in 2024?

I serve on East Palo Alto City Council, and we recently had a contentious meeting in which two council member, Ruben Abrica & Carlos Romero, tried to kill Flock Cameras. We kept Flock. Over the weekend our police caught a shooting suspect in under three hours. Flock works!

They called @Flock_Safety a "Snitching-Ass Startup". Now, the Mayor we serve is one of America's favorites. In a San Francisco Chronicle poll, Mayor Daniel Lurie has reached a staggering 74% approval rating. The data is clear: when you prioritize safety, you revitalize the city.

“Snitching ass startup.” That’s what a reporter called us when we started @Flock_Safety. I framed it. Hard work on important issues comes with scrutiny. If it helps more people learn about the dynamics of crime, good. If it helps deliver justice to victims, solve more than a million crimes a year and aid the safe return of more than 10,000 missing people last year alone, great. In 2019 San Francisco voted to restrict use of safety tech by first responders. It was hailed as a victory. Crime rose drastically. By 2024, Flock was brought in to serve. Major crimes fell by 44%. Austin went another way. Its homicide rate is +36% its pre-pandemic baseline, per the Council on Criminal Justice. In Dallas, our support aided a -32% decline in homicide and its lowest violent crime rate in a decade. In Pasadena, with Flock support, overall-crime clearance is 35%. The national average is 20-25%. That outcome? Our "snitching-ass startup” is proud to serve.

In 1962, three prisoners spent months constructing tools from material collected inside Alcatraz to pull off an impossible escape. Today, that kind of escape could be as easy as ordering takeout. In the first half of 2025, more than 300 drones flew over Fulton County Jail in Georgia. 75% were delivering contraband. Some inmates used drones to smuggle in everything from sandwiches to cigarettes. Others? Drugs. Weapons. Tools to escape. You may think jail contraband is just a prison problem. It’s not. It’s a community safety problem. For Fulton County, the threat of an escape or drugs flying over local airspace extends to surrounding Atlanta. With the support of @Flock_Safety's Drone as a First Responder system, deputies can now stop a security breach within 85 seconds. If it’s a sandwich or cigarettes, that may not seem like a major win. But if you’re a victim who has finally secured justice and tools to escape are flying in? An 85-second intercept matters.

🚨 BREAKING: A suspect accused of planning a mass shooting at Jazz Fest is in custody. Federal authorities tipped off the @OkaloosaCounty Sheriff's Office Wednesday that the suspect was driving through the Florida Panhandle, bound for New Orleans. Deputies used Flock cameras to pinpoint him at a Destin hotel. A handgun and 200 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the room. This is what cross-agency collaboration looks like when technology connects the dots. A federal tip, a local sheriff's office, and a shared network of cameras across jurisdictions, all working toward the same outcome. We are proud of our contribution in preventing this tragic event, keeping an estimated 460,000 event attendees safe. (cc: @OCSOALERTS)

We built a parachute into the airframe of every Alpha drone. It’s not an add-on, it’s calculated in our basic flight endurance specs. And also it’s fun to watch it go pop.

Safety isn’t an add-on. It’s built in. This is real-world parachute testing. Consistent deployment, controlled descent, and safe recovery, all built into the platform from day one. Join Alpha Early Access. Link in comments.

Wisconsin's Most Wanted was arrested last week in Oshkosh. The suspect had fired more than a dozen shots in public in Milwaukee in December. @Flock_Safety helped officers locate him. They arrived prepared. In the middle of the day, next to a local business, no bystanders were harmed. The most remarkable part of the arrest was what didn’t happen. "He was detained without incident." Every officer went home that night. Two victims' families are one step closer to justice. I’m proud that we could support the officers in this case.

In Cleveland, every investigation starts somewhere, and getting to that starting point faster can change how a case unfolds.

This is incredible. Crime is down across the board in SF. Important work by the SFPD; we at Flock are proud to partner with them. Similar trends from our partners in Pasadena: All-offense clearance rates are up from 28.96% in 2023 to 35.26% in 2025. Compare that to the national average around 20-25%. Flock is especially invaluable for communities with police staffing challenges. Berkeley police described Flock as “the one thing that's keeping a lot of officers engaged.” I'm very proud to support these departments. Everyone deserves to be safe, and Flock helps make that possible.

We do a lot at Flock to make accountability a part of our products. In the same way that driving a car requires a driver's license and buying a gun requires a background check, our systems have audits, transparency, and data deletion built in so that they serve everyone.
