@ltarsenal With MLS moving into MF, we have 7 defenders. One is out for the forseeable. Another is recovering from surgery. A third is injury prone. A fourth is still relatively inexperienced. We absolutely need to sign one defender (ideally a two-footed CB who can cover both Saliba & Gabi)

Don’t want to see Arsenal sign a single defender this window. Mosquera is fine. If Mosquera isn’t fit you can play White at CB. If White isn’t fit, Timber. Heck in the absolute worst case you can even play Rice as the CB and rock up with a midfield of MLS, Bruno G and Odegaard.

@KLP_AFC @SkySportsNews Exactly. The 50% of his image rights Madrid currently own apparently cover his entire salary, so Arsenal giving him 100% of that will immediately double his income. We wouldn't have to go near £800k a week. You'd think Sky would at least do some basic research.

The reason the Tzolis signing is intriguing is because it comes at the expense of Eze replacing Trossard and Nwaneri seeing more minutes in 10. Tzolis and Nwaneri are competing for minutes here. If Nwaneri is the talent we think he is then Eze will get shunted left to compete.

Trossard Total aps: 174 matches Goals Scored: 36 goals Assists Provided: 33 assists Premier League: 123 aps, 27 goals, 24 assists Tzolis needs 10 goals and 9 assists in all comps to replace Trossard’s output. Or 8 goals and 7 assists to replace PL output.

@HighburyHugh Seems fairly straightforward, if we sign Vini or another high profile LW he'll go (still plenty of the window left to find somewhere for him, shouldn't be short of suiters once the dominoes start fallnig). If we don't he'll stay.

Still seeing discussion around Martenelli. There's been no links to him leaving and I don't see a scenario where he does, even if we sign someone else. Discussion feels pointless to me.

The Vini stuff always sounded difficult and that’s fine. The only thing that made it sound remotely plausible was the source.
