Haitham in Gaza 🇵🇸🍉@HaithamElmasri1
A year and a half ago, the occupying army allowed us to return from southern Gaza to the north, after we had all been displaced to the south, and after it had leveled our homes to the ground and completely destroyed them, following its withdrawal from most northern areas.
At that time, we clung to one illusion: that the displacement was over, and that this would be the last time we were uprooted from our land. But this illusion did not last long; after only a few months, the occupying army returned to advance once again, issuing warnings not to remain in northern Gaza, forcing us into displacement once more.
Since that moment until now, my family and I remain displaced, trapped in an unending exile, deprived of returning to our city and our homes, as if we have no homeland.
