Something I’ve noticed since I started using this platform is that people go straight for my job like I’m supposed to be ashamed of it. Apparently driving a forklift means I can’t read or think critically. The underestimation usually works in my favor.

@FoodProfessor Accurate. I miss having more beef in my diet but it’s too damn expensive to eat frequently. Costco rotisserie chicken helps get some cheaper protein intake.

This sums it up. Our “new” liberal govt does exactly what it has always done. Tax everything that moves, if anything keeps moving they tax it more. Once things stop moving they offer subsidies. This is the most hairbrained way to run a country. Just get of taxpayers necks…

I’ll have some exciting news to share this week. As many of you now know, after 25 years of writing for La Presse—entirely on a volunteer basis—the newspaper decided to “pause” our relationship last month following comments I made about how government tax credits may be fostering editorial bias in parts of the media landscape, often favouring the governing Liberals. Just agreed to write for a new outlet, with my first piece coming out this Wednesday. More details to come—stay tuned.

Mark Carney says affordability is “the best it’s been in a decade.” Meanwhile, Statistics Canada just confirmed: Canada’s poverty rate **barely budged in 2024**… and is still **more than 50% higher** than in 2020. From 7% to 11% in four years. That’s not “best in a decade.” That’s a **Liberal-made disaster**. Carney can keep gaslighting us all he wants. Canadians are living the numbers every single day. Canada First — not more Carney spin. 🔥🇨🇦 Quote: x.com/citynewsto/sta…

@Martyupnorth I got it despite skepticism because I needed to keep my job company was adamant we had to have it. I know someone who got it for the same reason, in their case the job required air travel.

87% of you complied with the vaccine mandates. You willingly shared your private medical information....just so you could get a Starbucks latte. So clutch your pearls a little more firmly, and save your sanctimonious BS for someone els
