@Soteriology101 You aren’t a Pelagian Leighton. You go way further than Pelagius ever did. Pelagius would become an Augustinian if he saw your videos.

@Soteriology101 1/2 🤦‍♂️ Jesus had attributes veiled while he was on earth. In the same way he was astonished at the Centurion, he marveled at the unbelief of the people in his own country. Mark 6:4-6 “But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own

If Calvinism is true—that every person is born totally unable to believe the gospel, and that faith is only possible through God’s sovereign, supernatural regeneration that causes belief in the elect—then WHY was Jesus astonished at the Centurion’s exceptional faith (Matthew 8:10) and astonished at the unbelief of the people in His hometown (Mark 6:6)? A consistent Calvinist view renders Jesus’s astonishment inexplicable, since faith (or its absence) would simply be the inevitable outworking of God’s unconditional decree and effectual calling rather than something genuinely surprising or praiseworthy in response to human response!

@Soteriology101 You can’t just have both sides of your theology that are contradictory of saying man is completely capable of coming to God on his own but that he also needs the Holy Spirit to convict him or open his eyes in order to be able to see his need for God.

#Calvinism is not the same as #Gnosticism, obviously! BUT…Both systems describe a profound, innate human incapacity for salvific response that requires a unilateral divine act to overcome (and both are rooted in a more deterministic philosophical starting point, which can be unpacked later). • Gnostic version: Bondage to fate/ignorance/archons renders natural humanity blind and enslaved; only gnosis/Savior’s revelation awakens the divine spark and enables return to the Pleroma. • Calvinist version: Bondage to sin (from Adam’s fall) renders natural humanity spiritually dead and hostile; only regenerating grace (irresistible for the elect) quickens the will and enables faith. In both cases: • The “natural” or fallen state is not neutral or merely weakened—it actively prevents positive spiritual movement toward God. • Human effort, reason, or response cannot initiate salvation. • Salvation begins with a divine initiative that imparts what the person lacks (gnosis vs. new birth/light/grace). • This creates a similar soteriological structure: monergism on the front end, with the elect (or pneumatics) responding once enabled. The historical bridge strengthens the case. Augustine spent roughly a decade as a Manichaean (a Gnostic-influenced dualistic sect) before converting to Christianity. While he later opposed Manichaean determinism, scholars note that in his mature anti-Pelagian phase he re-emphasized a “dead will” requiring divine resurrection/infused grace—retaining structural elements even as he changed the cause from dualistic ontology to Adam’s historical sin and guilt. Calvin explicitly saw himself as Augustinian and quoted him extensively. We believe the concept of total inability to believe was “borrowed from Gnostic Manichaeism,” where a divine act was needed to resurrect the dead will. Calvinist would rather focus on all the differences between themselves and gnostics while ignoring this major component introduced by Augustine in the fifth century. And I’m not the only one claiming that Augustine introduced this concept into the Christian church. Even leading Calvinistic historians have confessed this fact as we have demonstrated many times. That does not prove Augustine is necessarily wrong, but it does demonstrate a huge weakness that is worthy of objective examination!

@LukeHatsune @Wario64 I’m assuming this removes the need to insert the disk to play unless you insert that disk in a different console with a different profile.

@Wario64 So what benefit does this bring? I’d understand the benefit if it gave a standalone digital copy in case the disc stops working but having the disc also be required for the digital copy to work doesn’t make any sense for this to be a useful feature.

@Wario64 So you get a digital copy that doesn’t need the disk inserted and if you want to make sure no one takes your digital copy by using the disk inserted their system you either break the disk and throw in out or hide it in your closet somewhere?

@jollyyellownerd @HazzadorGamin If they were sure but the AI companies using tons of ram and storage isn’t made up, if is a real new thing that is happening. They have to add more factories and production lines to meet this demand that didn’t exist before.

@Mr_Blonde013 @RockstarGames No a lot of people prefer digital including myself as it is way more convenient and it’s not like most games are actually fully on the disk. So you want a disk that has the first 3 gigs of the game and a license key that you still have to download most of the game?

@Matthew0390 @RockstarGames I don't think it's a want. I think it's the gaming developers or publishers that rather have digital. Most consumers want something tangible. And there is a small percentage that will not play it without a disc, I am one of them.

I think @RockstarGames is testing the market as we speak. 15-24% of console gamers still buy physical media. At 80-100 dollars a unit they are leaving a lot of money on the table if they choose not to maximize sales. To the physical media players we must hold fast & not give in.

@majestietestie @ElectricCAPS @HazzadorGamin There is no proof they are fixing prices among themselves. You said yourself they are capped out (demand is way higher than supply driving up price Nd giving the companies the upper hand to ask more from those wanting their limited supply.

@vr_mama @HazzadorGamin Yes, most likely supply will increase to try to meet demand and then as AI models move past the acquisition stage to the actually making money stage many customers of those AI models will find it’s not worth the cost and many AI companies will fail and lower demand leaving excess

@Matthew0390 @HazzadorGamin And when that bubble pops all that ram will go on sale because it'll cost the businesses more than they think it will. With companies doing this hopefully thst pops sooner rather than later.

@RinoTheBouncer There will be very few games with a noticeable generational leap and they will not come out for years after the next gen consoles do. Most games already do 4k 60fps and take tons of money and many many years to develop. Producing games is getting to expensive and hardware is to.

HOT TAKE: I’m so over the PS5 generation, and PS6 should come next year🚀 This generation has been abysmal so far, with barely any progress and most games that carried were third party, and even then, too many cross gen games or games barely trying. I want it to be over already, and move on to new hardware, more power, and new games with a real noticeable generational leap. Whether it’s $500 or $1000, just give me the PlayStation 6 and give me a great launch line-up with it, new IPs, remakes of old classics, revival or dormant IPs… just get it over with. Knowing this industry, no they won’t even try to push any boundaries and you’ll hear the same mantra about the work that you don’t see any valuable result for, and the challenges that are used as a crutch for mediocrity. I’m so over this tainted era😤
