Think @DDuggan21 made a good point about not replinishing picks. Trade ups are normal but the Giants haven't traded down in 4 drafts now to replinish picks. They've made 4 trade ups giving up 7 extra picks outside of the picks they were moving up for. So it feels like the Giants have to nail the player for it to not be harmful to team building.
Emilio Lizardo@ElectClayDavis

@GiantsNationPod Do you think part of why some of us don’t feel great about the Malachi Fields trade is because of the whole Jalin Hyatt experience? I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going on with me.

@gb150436 @JoeLiuzzi88 Honestly it’s nothing to do with age. Just people who go to social media, likely do to complain. Also most fans know very little about the prospects and if you know only a little, you tend to think you know a lot.

@Connor_J_Hughes Combine 40 times are the least predictive metric for success of WR. It’s mug more important to look at play speed. This hopes for all positions but ppl seem to think 40 times matter for WR and they really don’t. Look at Puka. Terrible 40 but plays really fast.

John Harbaugh says that Malachi Fields is consistently running over 21 MPH in fields, per the GPS data, which is comparable to a 4.4 40-yard dash. Fields ran a 4.61 at the NFL Combine. Not a concern for the #Giants. They believe his play speed is much faster.

@DrewPaPa @minakimes Considering they are the top premium positions outside QB, you always want to pick edge and tackle there. Just because one didn’t work out, doesn’t mean you don’t do it again.

I don’t hate the picks but isn’t that what everyone said the last time we went Edge / Tackle in the top 10 with Kayvon and Neal…like 4 years ago…really hope this pair turns out better. I would have preferred trading 5 to KC for what Cleveland got and gone Downs and Vega at 9&10 and added two more picks…but that’s just me. Can’t tell me there wasn’t a market for Reese at 5.

Think about this. AI demand has gotten so extreme… NVIDIA is now talking about putting data centers in space. Jensen Huang: “We’re going into space.” Cooling problem: “In space there’s no conduction, no convection only radiation.” And today NVIDIA said $1T revenue is now possible. The AI race is turning into a space race.

Look, I have been in finance long enough to know that $17.7 million is a rounding error at certain scales. It just happens that IperionX is not at those scales. The auditors reviewed it. The executives signed it. The SEC received it. At no point in this chain did anyone notice that an asset had been inflated by 571%. We call that a robust review process. I type for a living. I have never accidentally typed twenty-one million when I meant three million. But I also do not have a board presentation riding on the number. So perhaps my fingers are less ambitious. The stock fell 16%. The law firms are circling. The keyboards are all functioning normally.

So everyone gave me a hard time with Donut Labs Solid State battery. Scam. Fake. Impossible. Well, guess what, 3rd party validations coming in hot 0-80% Charging in under 10min ✅ prob looking at the noble prize here
Carbncut@carbncut

🚨🔋Donut Lab Brings the Receipts: Finland’s VTT Lab Verifies Donut Lab’s 0–80% Solid-State Charge in 4.5 Minutes. 🍩 Last week, I shared how Donut Lab was facing heavy skepticism over their claims of a production-ready solid-state battery. Today, things are starting to get much clearer, which makes believing in this a bit easier. The VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, a government-owned lab, just released independent test results. For those of us living with EVs, the data is worth a close look. Here is what the lab actually proved regarding charging performance and why it matters: •The 5C Test (Under 10 Minutes): To put this in perspective, a typical EV today takes about 30 to 60 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% at a fast charger. In the first phase of testing, the lab pushed the cell at a 5C rate. Even with very basic cooling, the battery reached 80% state of charge in less than 10 minutes. When they removed the cooling to let it run hotter, it finished the full 0–100% charge even faster, in just over 12 minutes. •The 11C Test (The 4.5-Minute Mark): This is the extreme speed test. An 11C rate is roughly 11 times faster than the battery's standard hourly capacity. The cell hit a 0–80% state of charge in exactly 4.5 minutes. This is about five times faster than the best fast-charging performance we see on the road today. •The Thermal Advantage: In most batteries, heat is the enemy. It forces the car to slow down the charging speed to protect the cells. With the Donut Lab cell, the opposite happened. As the temperature climbed to 89°C during the 11C test, the battery’s internal resistance actually dropped. This allowed it to maintain that extreme charging speed for longer without having to "throttle" or slow down. If this tech scales to a full battery pack, it turns a charging stop back into a refueling stop. It is fast enough that by the time you walk inside to use the restroom, your car is already ready to go. Independent verification from a state lab is a massive hurdle to clear. If this is a scam, they deserve an Oscar for the level of detail. If it is true, they deserve a Nobel Prize. What is your take? Source: …e113bb711e441db5c353d2d31abbb3.r2.dev/VTT_CR_00092_2…

🚨📰 They called it a scam. Now they’re bringing the receipts! 🍩 Remember in January when we got our first look at Finland’s Donut Lab claims that they had a production-ready solid-state battery? The specs were, frankly, hard to process: 400 Wh/kg, five-minute full charging, lower cost than lithium ion and 100,000 cycles. The industry reaction? Brutal. Many called it pure BS, "too good to be true" or even a "marketing scam." Well, Marco (CEO) just made a fresh appearance to address the noise head-on. He isn't backing down. Instead, he’s launching a series called "I Donut Believe," where they’ll publish raw data verified by a state-owned research center to prove they aren't kidding. Marco’s take is fascinating: they intentionally let the "experts" go on record saying it was impossible first. Now, they’re bringing the proof. The journey starts in about 3 days. Follow it here: idonutbelieve.com Is third-party validation from a state lab enough to make you less skeptical, or does it not change anything for you?

🚨📰 Solid State batteries are finally here, and they aren't coming from a lab in 2030. 🔋 Finland’s Donut Lab just unveiled their all-solid-state battery at CES 2026. This is not a prototype or a future roadmap. The battery is available today at gigawatt-hour scale and is already powering the Verge TS Pro motorcycles shipping to customers. Key Technical Specifications: •Energy Density: 400 Wh/kg. •Charging: Five-minute full charge from zero. •Longevity: Designed for up to 100,000 cycles. •Safety: Inherently safe and non-flammable due to the all-solid-state design. •Thermal Stability: Retains over 99% capacity at -30°C and over 100°C. They claim the battery is built using 100% green and globally abundant materials. It requires no cobalt, lithium, or other rare and geopolitically sensitive resources. This makes the system structurally cheaper than lithium-ion and removes supply chain bottlenecks.

Now only the download speed was tested In the first VTT measurements, only the charging speed of the Donut Lab battery was tested. Although the results are impressive and correspond to the original promises, these results alone cannot be used to confirm the accuracy of all of Donut Lab's claims. According to Juho Heiska, Head of Research and Development at Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, Donut Lab must be able to show that the same battery cell charge that is now shown in VTT's tests also lasts the promised 100,000 cycles, withstands cold weather as promised, and at the same time fulfills the promise of 400 Wh/kg. "The battery's charging speeds are really impressive, I have to admit. The test result was similar to the measurement results from the original release, but with better data. However, with a high 11°C charge, the battery got very hot, which means that the battery has resistance," Heiska recently estimated

IperionX has received a prototype purchase order for the production of lightweight titanium components for U.S. Army heavy ground combat systems. This initial purchase order has the potential to lead to a significantly larger agreement upon successful delivery of this initial scope of work. Light weighting is an increasingly critical design consideration for U.S. Army heavy ground combat platforms as the vehicles continues to gain mass through successive survivability and lethality upgrades, including enhanced armor systems and emerging counter-UAS and drone-protection solutions.
