@NintyPrime I think this is obvious. Nintendo isn't doing as well as you think. That is why they are lowering prices on games. Digitally to bring people in. Sams club was selling bundle for under 400 bucks. There sales forecasts are down. The nail in coffin is you defended game key cards.

This was about if Switch 2 sales were outpacing PS5 in the UK. It’s interesting. Some have you thinking the system is failing, then sales data lands and outside of one month it’s basically been nothing but positives. So many seem directly invested in switch 2 failing.

@NintyPrime I am fine with this if they keep games price 70 max. 80 dollars is too much and stupid. We are paying more and I wonder if we are getting more. The quality standards are higher when 70 dollars is price. New pokemon is 70 dollars and it feels like 50 or 60 dollar game.

Nintendo is doing the thing (variable pricing) in a way people have said they wanted (cheaper digital games). $69.99 for Yoshi physically, $59.99 digitally. Reason? Rising cost of physical, basically. Do you like the change?

@NintyPrime Nintendo would sell more if they lowered the price of their games. 70 dollars or 80 dollars for some of these games are ridiculous. The reason why switch 1 was the most successful system nintendo has ever released. Consumers were happier with physical games and better prices

@TimSweeneyEpic If you belive in competition why isn't fortnite on steam? Why was rocket league taken off of steam? Why was fall guys taken off a steam? Seems like only reason you celebrate is when you make more money not when gamers get choice taken away from them. Kids had to switch to roblux.

Fun fact: Every digital game you have ever purchased on any Nintendo platform ever is still available to re-download. They first started offering such games on the Nintendo Wii, that released in 2006. Any game bought on Switch or Switch 2 digitally, or via key-card - will likely still be available to download 20+ years from now. It's not a problem until it actually happens. ATM, nothing has ever indicated we need to be worried from NIntendo.

@Six1Eye @SteamDeckPower @Genki_JPN Clearly you aren't educated on pc. Steam takes 30 percent cut not 70. They also drop down to 20 percent after your first million sales. Also they give the publishers steam keys to sell on third party websites and valve gets none of that. So the consumer spends less they get more.

My classmate was raped on her way back home from university and got pregnant, but couldn’t get an abortion due to the laws. She had to drop out of university where she was studying medicine. Because of pregnancy and childbirth expenses, she couldn’t continue her studies, left college, started working at a coffee shop, lost the fun of her early twenties, and lost the chance to attend international medical conferences she once dreamt of… all just to give birth to a child she never wanted. People say, “What if the baby you abort grows up and cures cancer?” Okay — but what if the 19-year-old you deny an abortion to grows up and cures cancer? Now she can’t afford to get an education. Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being??? “Abortion ends potential life”… So do property disputes, war, and genocide. @TimSweeneyEpic You know another company that allows you to buy games on a third party websites that gives more money to the publishers and gives a bigger discount to the consumer steam. The reason you will always lose the argument is because you don't care about consumers it's simple as that.

And GTA distributed through the Epic Games Store uses its own payment system, so total third-party developer monetization is well above the $400,000,000 of payments processed by Epic. More power and freedom to developers!

@princeofpersia Fix the game and release it. It's almost done then fix it. I swear modders could fix this game by this year. Instead we have incompetent studios like ubisoft that can't manage to release 1 remake in the time spand of 4 different games. Stop giving us excuses and finish the game!
