@HughJazzole @PHLY_Flyers I agree with you. Flyers not on the level of the Canes. Honestly, I hope the Flyers play a closer, better game. I was only saying Flyers only hope to win the series. Not something I expect to happen. I know the Canes can handle adversity. You guys have a ton of talent.

@16Diz4life @PHLY_Flyers They did show fight late. I don’t disagree, but they play in their defensive structure and try to get a lead. The Canes have not trailed at all this postseason. What happens if they do? Flyers do need to be physical, no question. But they must play their game too.

I was texting with a friend from Pitt, so I heard the Pens side on that series. Canes are way better and deeper than Flyers/Pens. Only chance Flyers have is defensive game.

@charlieo_conn Will Tippett be back? I am not sure if we are talking game-time injury or something more severe with him. Feels like team needs his style of speed and size against this Canes team.

Flyers lose 3-0 in Game 1 against the Hurricanes. Awful first period buried them, but even after that, the Canes were pretty clearly the better club. Flyers have a very difficult road ahead of them in this series.

@mop5pta @PadmeSkywalker1 @charlieo_conn Perhaps. Flyers just need to win Game 2 either way. Hopefully, Tippett will be back. Canes are a really good and deep team. I think all that stuff at the end was a mistake by the Canes. They are the better team; and they were winning.

So both Zegras and Blake both get 10 minute misconducts, and the Flyers end up with the extra 2 minute minor out of all of that.

@SpikeEskin If they lose, I hope the takes aren’t “Damn if Tatum played they’d have won.” The proper reaction would be “They’re still the same team not ready for the big-time, title teams don’t come up lame in spots like that.” Hopefully it doesn’t come to that and this year is different.

Still want to be confident but Celtics were very good with no Tatum this year. Think also there is some value to them not having two guys trying to cook. Just hoping the Sixers take the game with the same seriousness.
