The mass killing of civilians, cultural erasure and destruction of property and infrastructure in Gaza is collective punishment for Hamas's terrorism. In other words, it is punishing people who were not responsible for the crimes. It is without legal or moral justification.

One of the men arrested in this video is our colleague Al-Araby Correspondent Diaa Kahlot, along with his family, who are most definitely not members of Hamas. He and other captives were stripped naked in the street and taken to an unknown location. Journalism is not a crime!

Cops are now claiming that the star of david was unintentional and came from one of the cop's shoes. There's 0 reason to believe them, but it's telling that they think stepping on a person's face hard enough to leave a bloody imprint is some sort of legitimate excuse.

After release from custody today I was given bail conditions not to protest on any road in the UK. Marching is a legal form of protest and has always been a part of our democratic process. Our freedom and democracy is under threat from this government.
