In a million years, I could have never imagined how today would turn out. My best friend for the last 6 years suddenly passed away today. I’m still in total shock and disbelief. Sal came into my life after I lost my first cat child when I was in a deep dark hole I never thought I’d get out of. I named him Salvatore because I love the Sopranos and I wanted him to have a wise guy name - but Salvatore also means savior in Italian, and that’s truly what he was.
