Running away is jujitsu just like any martial art its always your first move. Nobody expects you to stand and fight a guy swinging a sword. If the cop couldn’t get him to drop the weapon, he should have shot him. As he circled, if they got any closer, the cop might’ve had no choice but to go hands-on. Thankfully that didn’t happen. There’s no debate here. Many different people train jujitsu, and most of them are not criminals.

I oppose many many police shootings. Without knowing how this event was instigated, cops have no obligation to allow themselves to be stabbed. If the cop started the violence. It's a bad shoot. If he didn't, it is a good shoot. But cops very often (if not most cases) start the problem.
