Good morning 🌄 My Redsss ❣️ IMO....Despite our frustrating 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha quietly delivered a really solid performance down the front. Of course , in a game overshadowed by officiating drama, the chemistry between these two was one of the few bright spots. Bruno was everywhere again, showing exactly why he’s the heartbeat of this team. He tucked away his penalty with total composure to give us the lead and then forced the own goal with a wicked corner delivery in the second half. That’s essentially two goals created by the captain in a match where we struggled for consistent rhythm. He has now scored 8 goals and provided 16 assists in the league this season, which is an incredible record. Matheus Cunha also put in a serious shift. His movement off the ball was a constant headache for the Bournemouth defense, and it was his sharp footwork that forced the foul for our first penalty. Even when the game became chaotic after the red card, Cunha’s energy didn't drop. He’s proving to be such a vital outlet for us, especially when he can link up with Bruno’s vision. It’s quite unfortunate their hard work was undone by a couple of defensive lapses and some questionable whistles.
