@MaxKierkegaard @MedoDeveloper1 Sadly Roblox only gives us 3 price options. $10, $30, and $50. The rev-share on $10 is only 50% so going to $30 3.6x the amount of money we get.

What was the fundraiser about then? The closer we are the more it seems to been done for profit not for the community. 🤔

Hi! We aren't doing this to make a lot of money, there's much cheaper Roblox games we could have made. All potential profits from the kickstarter go to a joint venture to fund future community projects and egg hunts. We thought this is probably the best way to have a chance of making back the money from this project and making an egg hunt in 2027. The general problem with an event game is if the game has 6-10 hours of content in it, it will peak with a lot of players, and then immediately be dead by CCU. (Imagine even Mario Odyssey on Roblox). You can't really micro-transaction Mario Odyssey so in order to build the type of game that an authentic egg hunt is, you need a different business model. By the time you find a way to add micro-transactions to the game, it's no longer an egg hunt game (You only want to collect each egg once). We're taking a massive risk with this project. We thought this was the simplest way to monetize the game without making the game something else, and without just failing to make the game.
