Show the proof then man.
I get calls every single day from Division 1 coaches. Not ONCE has any coach ever asked how a 7’s season is going or for “7v7 film”.
No one is extending offers because of 7’s. I promise.

Cinematic quality first 3 minutes of the 1998 Game 6 NBA Finals. Look at all the amazing ball movement and sets. Basketball used to be such art 🔥

@edrforshey @SportsTalk_304 100%, I fully imagine courts could get involved in a kid wanting to transfer too.
English

@SportsTalk_304 @MaxLilly01 Punish them does no good cause a local judge overrules anything they do against anyone
English

Kids transferred because of how coaches were treating them. Don’t act like you’re protecting the sports while promoting the mistreatment of young student-athletes.

WV Coaches, The transfer repeal has passed the House. Your voice has been heard in Charleston. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication to the WVSACA. wvlegislature.gov/legisdocs/2026…

@SportsTalk_304 @edrforshey That’s the bigger issue. The scope needs to widen on that.
English

@edrforshey @MaxLilly01 I agree, but if the SSAC wants less cheating, they need to at least punish the ones that get caught. It'll at least make some people second guess recruiting
English

@SportsTalk_304 All fall backs on the culture. Everyone has been in toxic environments before in life. Adults leave toxic places all the time..but kids can't?
English

@MaxLilly01 Define "terrible situation", because outside of the extremely rare abusive coach or something like that (that would likely grant you a waiver), there's really not a situation worse than just not being on a championship caliber team

@MaxLilly01 @SportsTalk_304 Because principals will never say no
In the form of winning

@edrforshey @SportsTalk_304 I don't disagree, but it's been easy to work around.
English

@MaxLilly01 @SportsTalk_304 If u want to play for team B live in team B district no expectations
That’s not a transfer it’s a move in
And im not talking using a post office box for residency
English

@SportsTalk_304 Additions to the scope of recruiting violations is a different conversation.
English

I think the old rule with a committee using common sense to review waivers would be fine. You'd be able to attend any school you want before you start your freshman year, and could transfer back to your "home" school at any point in your career without having to sit a year. Outside of that, you need a waiver imo
