@Brink_Thinker Yes out on my bike all day, I had a watch, so I would come back for lunch at 12 and then back in time for dinner at 5:30pm. Played in the fields, park & by the river (only fell in once but I could swim). This was 1975 onwards.

Be Honest.. Did parents really just let their kids wander the neighborhood all day with no phone and just say... be back before dark?

@mrmarksteel In 1991 we went to Cambridge for the day & lost the car in a side road. In the days beforefind my car app. Took us two hours to find it, we were about to phone the police to report it. I’m going there today, first time since that visit, I’ll let you know if we lose a car again.

Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report that he will not be able to perform at tomorrow’s BST Hyde Park show. Jeff has been battling a systemic infection and is currently in the care of a team of doctors who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time nor will he be able to reschedule. The legacy of the band and his longtime fans are foremost in Jeff’s mind today - and while he is so sorry that he cannot perform, he knows that he must focus on his health and rehabilitation at this time. @Essex_CC 4 weeks of a constant flashing streetlight in our bedroom window. How long do you take to investigate? How many phone calls and reports do you need? @mariecgoldman please can you help?

@Essex_CC please sort this street light. It’s been strobing since Christmas. Reported online and phoned, still not fixed. I live with migraines, this is not funny! It is constantly flashing in our bedroom window. Turn it off at the very least until it can be sorted.
