One thing that must change this season is the platforming of Eberechi Eze. No more RHS restriction, he either starts at LW or LCM with the freedom to occupy left half-spaces or as a traditional no.10 where he can drift horizontally. Having Havertz/Merino/Dowman more in the fold in the RHS this season should allow Eze to leave that role and pick up his favoured LHS spaces. Majority of Eze’s best actions come from the left side of the pitch: #AFC

@Footballera0 Eze is already a marquee, has been before joining Arsenal just like Rice as he almost singlehandedly dragged his team to their first trophy in how long two years back. Moreover he is 27 and Rogers is 23 so I don't expect them to be on same level but Rogers has huge potential.

The difference in technical level between Eze and Rogers was so noticeable yesterday. At certain points, it genuinely felt like Eze was playing an entirely different game. His touch, decision-making, and ability to manipulate tight spaces were operating on a different level. Rogers isn’t on this level.

Arsenal won the Premier League on the 19th May. Saliba should have had this surgery immediately after. 5 months out would’ve meant he was back for the Everton game in October only missing 7 games for us. Now he’s going to miss 20+
