I am very pleased to announce that, on my recommendation, His Majesty has approved the appointment of the Honourable Louise Arbour as the 31st Governor General of Canada. @JohnPaulDanko This is a 1.5 billion dollar loan from taxpayers, not the liberal government, who has refused to do anything about China dumping steel in Canada for 10 years. China is the real threat to Stelco jobs. Stelco is owed by an American company that is not affected by the tarrifs.

Canada is there for steel & aluminum workers. In response to expanded #TrumpTariffs our government is delivering $1.5 billion to keep Canadian industry strong & help business divest from US markets. For #HamOnt, this means protecting jobs, supporting industry & new opportunity.
