@kdcloudy We had Real 70mm IMAX when no one knew about it & today no one cares to install a GT, what Cinephiles are desperate to experience! WTF is going on😭😭

The beauty of the IMAX SR projector was that you could opt for a single unit and ditch 3D capability Pretty sure we had this in Ghaziabad and Kolkata IMAX 70mm theatres in ‘05 and ‘08

Looks like Miraj Forfeited their plans of an #IMAX in Jaipur & PVR took over. If true, #PVR is bringing Rajasthan's 1st IMAX this year, at Pacific Mall #Jaipur. Back in 2024, Miraj contracted with IMAX to open 3 venues, 1 was Miraj Wadala, 2nd was Jaipur IMAX (location wasn't disclosed back then), 3rd itself was an undisclosed location (anywhere) in India (rumours were that the 3rd one is Gurgaon) Thanks to Mayank for this insane fine!

@_mrchaturvedi @iamshreytyagi @_mrchaturvedi @kdcloudy Well, I believe Pink City is about to get Two IMAX-With Laser Auditoriums- 1. Pinkwalk Mall has Miraj Cinemas, already contracted to bring IMAX to Jaipur. 2. PVR IMAX can open at Pacific Mall Jaipur (very high chances).

Cyberhub was already peak beautification of industrialisation. Aerocity only builds on top of it. It's close proximity to the airport (3km) makes it a prime cultural hub for Global Events. Aerocity Mall is also going to be India's LARGEST, prime candidate for a Dolby Cinema 👀

There are still no new updates on this IMAX. I don’t think Delhi-NCR’s 9th IMAX, AIPL Joy IMAX, will open this year either.

Almost all local theatres were Branding as Dolby Atmos. But none have displayed Dolby logos like this.. 😏
