Trevor Ombija has just exposed something ugly in this country. The slow, deliberate attempt to manufacture hatred between communities for political survival. That is the oldest trick in the book divide Kenyans so they never unite against failed leadership. When the people start asking hard questions about the economy, corruption and broken promises, suddenly the conversation is turned into Luo versus Kikuyu. That is not journalism. That is political choreography. Kenyans must refuse to be used. Media houses especially must remember their responsibility to the nation. Stations that speak to the Kikuyu community must never allow themselves to become tools for tribal incitement the way Ramogi TV was shamefully pushed to frame the interview. The media should question power, not serve it. And let me be clear. I am a proud Luo. I do not need permission from anyone to say it. But being Luo does not mean surrendering my mind or my conscience. Leadership is not determined by tribe; it is determined by courage, honesty and the willingness to stand with the people when it matters most. If the choice is between silence, cowardice and leaders who only appear when power calls them or standing with someone who speaks boldly to the issues affecting Kenyans then the decision is simple. Between Oburu Odinga, Raymond Omollo and Babu Owino, I will stand with Rigathi Gachagua without apology. Because Kenya must move beyond the cheap politics of tribe. The future of this country will not be built by those who weaponize identity. It will be built by those who are brave enough to confront power and unite the people.

If leaders fear citizens, things change. If citizens fear leaders, nothing changes.

and somehow, we hand them the same power again. The same cycle. The same suffering. This isn’t just politics, it’s our lives. We cannot keep rewarding corruption, violence, and greed. Our vote is our voice, and it must mean something.

Every day, we wake up early, work hard, and still struggle to pay school fees, to put food on the table, to keep a roof over our heads. Meanwhile, those in power loot, grab land, exploit the vulnerable, and walk free like nothing happened. Then election season comes…

Are we not tired enough as Kenyans? Tired of voting in mediocre? Thieves? Murderers? Looters? Serial corrupted people? Power brokers? We need to be smart as citizens, actually, not even smart, perhaps use the common senses.

It's deeply concerning that So many people can be killed, Their organs harvested Their lifeless bodies mysteriously found And it's treated like it's normal And security and law enforcement agencies Are as surprised as any other Kenyan And life moves on. That's sad. Why do we have a whole ministry With heavy budgets if all they know Is to shoot innocent Kenyans? Why is the government not providing security to the people? Are they not Kenyans? This is a failed government and there's every reason for Kenyans to rethink their decision in 2027. Fagia wote!

Today’s news should honestly make every Kenyan pause for a second. KSh 6.3 billion allegedly moved from eCitizen, the same system we were told would bring transparency, into a private account. Not millions. Billions. And that’s where it stops making sense. Because if a system designed to close loopholes can still produce this, then what exactly changed? Maybe the harder truth is this wasn’t done in secrecy or fear. It’s happening in broad daylight… with the confidence that we will get angry, talk about it, trend hashtags, and then move on. We’ve seen that script too many times. But at some point, we have to break it. Because if we keep moving on like nothing happened, then we’re basically telling them it’s okay.
